El Rey Felipe vibra en París con los éxitos de los olímpicos españoles

King Felipe vibrates in Paris with the successes of the Spanish Olympians

MADRID, Aug. 7 (CHANCE) -

It is being an atypical summer for the Royal Family, undoubtedly marked by the Paris 2024 Olympics. Showing their unconditional support for the Spanish athletes, Kings Felipe and Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, as well as Queen Doña Sofía - who will take over from his son in Paris this Thursday - have been perfectly organized to show their support for our athletes in the different events that have been taking place for almost two weeks in the French capital.

While the women of the Royal Family surprised this Tuesday by starring in a relaxed walk full of confidences through the old town of Palma de Mallorca, the Majesty of the King vibrated in Paris with the successes of the Spanish in different disciplines.

Dressed in a navy blue polo shirt with the Spanish flag on the sleeve and collar in red, Don Felipe was seen at the Vaires-Sur-Marne Nautical Stadium to support our athletes participating in the canoeing qualifying events.

Tireless in his support for Spanish sport, the monarch later headed to the Place de la Concorde to support the Spanish women participating in the Skateboard events, before cheering from the stands at the women's water polo quarterfinal match between the combined matches of Canada and Spain that resulted in a 8-18 victory for our country. A success that the King enthusiastically applauded, demonstrating that it has become the best talisman for the national delegation.

After holding a meeting with the president of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, Felipe VI did not miss the artistic swimming tests, free routine team tests, and after personally congratulating the Spanish team, he moved to the House of Spain in the Olympic Village to personally encourage our athletes, once again showing their closest side.

Smiling, expressive and with a naturalness that we love, the King chatted with workers, journalists covering the Olympic Games and different athletes, such as the Olympic 3x3 basketball medalists, with whom he exuded smiles and complicity while celebrating his success.

This Wednesday, the day - which is expected to be just as intense as the previous one and with which he will put an end to his presence in Paris - Felipe VI, white polo shirt of the Spanish team and navy blue cap, has attended the sport climbing competition to support the Spanish Alberto Ginés, whom he warmly congratulated after his qualification for the Olympic final.

The next member to support the Spanish delegation will be Queen Sofía, who this Thursday will take over from her son and will enjoy, just as Don Felipe, Doña Letizia and their daughters have done in recent days, the different tests in the that our athletes compete.
