Antonio Banderas breaks his silence after the demolition of his house in Marbella: "They didn't throw it at me"

Two weeks after the magazine 'Lecturas' revealed that Antonio Banderas has demolished his Marbella villa, 'La Gaviota' - built on illegal land during the mandate of Jesús Gil and that the actor bought from the heirs of the announcer Encarna Sánchez After his death in 1997 - the protagonist of 'The Fox' has broken his silence on this controversial matter.
He did it during the XV Starlite Solidarity Gala that was held in the town of Malaga and in which, once again, he served as host along with Sandra García-Sanjuán. And the first thing he has done has been to assure that "they have not thrown it at me", making it clear that it was he who, after two decades of legal battle against the Marbella City Council and the Supreme Court, has decided to tear down the house with the intention to build a new residence that complies with the law after requesting a license to begin construction.
"I'm building a house, and I haven't thrown it away. It's the first thing I'm going to say on stage tonight. They haven't thrown my house away," he concluded, avoiding confirming what truth there is in the rumors that A prefabricated home could be built like the one he installed on the outskirts of London when he lived in the British capital.
Very discreet, Antonio did not want to go further into the demolition of his chalet, although he has advanced his most immediate future plans, which include leaving Malaga and Spain because "I'm going to Broadway next year, for a whole year, to New York" with a new play about which we hope to learn more details soon.
His girlfriend, Nicole Kimpel, has revealed on her behalf the reason why work on Banderas' new house has not yet begun. And it is none other than "because it is summer. You cannot do work during the summer. Wait a little, that people are enjoying themselves, that they are on vacation and, like everyone, we do not want noise from construction work" he explained with a smile.
